The Little Doudou by the Window is a children's literature work created by Tetsuko Kuroyanagi, a Japanese writer and host. Originally published in 198 1.
This book tells a true story of the author in primary school: Xiao Doudou (the author) came to Ba Xueyuan after being expelled from the original school for being naughty. Under the care and guidance of President Kobayashi, the "weird" little Doudou in the eyes of ordinary people has gradually become an acceptable child for everyone. The friendly and easy-going teaching method of Ba Xueyuan has made the children here spend the best time in their lives.

Creation background
Tetsuko Kuroyanagi, the author of Little Doudou by the Window, often thinks of the influence of Ba Xueyuan and President Kobayashi on her when she is an adult. One night she always thought about it and then ran out of bed in the middle of the night. It suddenly occurred to her that she wanted to write a book about Ba Xueyuan and President Kobayashi, so she wrote a few pages full of 300 squares that night and wrote the first chapter of Little Doudou by the Window, First Arriving at the Station.
"Ba Xue Yuan" has a unique school gate, which consists of two dwarf trees with green leaves. In the words of Xiao Doudou, it is "the school gate that grows out of the ground". "Ba Xueyuan" has a characteristic classroom. They are abandoned trams, and they are the tram classrooms of Xiao Doudou.
