What is the use of continuing education credits for medical practitioners?
Continuing education credits are one of the conditions for evaluating the qualifications of medical practitioners, which will be used in future promotion and related to the registration of qualification certificates. Health technicians with intermediate or above professional and technical positions should participate in continuing medical education activities and get 25 credits every year, including 5 to 10 credits for Class I and 5 to 20 credits for Class II.

Continuing medical education activities implement the credit system, which is divided into class I credits and class II credits according to the nature of the activities.

A class of credits awarded:

1, a project approved by the Committee of Continuing Medical Education of the Ministry of Health;

2, provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government continue to attack the medical education committee for examination and approval or authorized units organized projects;

3, colleges and universities directly under the Ministry of Health, directly affiliated units and the Chinese Medical Association organized special projects to the Ministry of Health Medical Education Committee for the record.

Self-study and other forms of continuing medical education activities.

Health technicians with intermediate or above professional and technical positions should participate in continuing medical education activities every year, and medical staff in hospitals of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government must obtain 5 to 10 credits from national projects within 5 years.
