Learning market: let children measure the vegetable garden with program code
Based on the needs of life and low cost. The learning market combines programming language with farmland planting, turns the abstract programming code in children's minds into a temperature and humidity sensor for measuring vegetable gardens, and sees the learning effect.

Chuangke base

Haoxue Market is located in Zhonghe District, New Taipei City, hidden in a row of four-story apartment buildings. Monday to Friday is the learning space of parents' classroom, and holidays are transformed into a maker base to teach children programming education.

Parent-child interaction

There are eight students in a class every Saturday morning. Under the guidance of teachers, students use programs and hardware tools to remotely monitor and manage the rooftop vegetable garden upstairs in the classroom, raise quails, cultivate earthworm soil and plant water spinach.

Operation practice

Children focus on each other, according to the operation steps, use computer programs to input operators and control instructions, and then connect with bread board for testing, fine-tune components and coding details, design temperature and humidity sensors, and see the actual operation of the programming language through the feedback of the sensors.

Parent-child interaction

Programming is not difficult for children, and students can always apply what they have learned. Some children will take the sensor home for experiments and accidentally find that the dehumidifier at home simply doesn't work. Some children even connected the sensor to the buzzer and designed a machine. When parents approached the door, it immediately gave an alarm to remind him to sit back at the desk immediately. Different from the traditional learning experience, it stimulates children's interest in learning and ferments after class.
