Hubei University, located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, is a provincial-level key comprehensive university jointly established by the Hubei Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education. It is a "first-class university in China" in Hubei Province and a national "basic capacity building project for universities in the central and western regions".
