The results of the fourth round of national discipline evaluation announced the ranking.
The fourth round of discipline evaluation is to evaluate the overall level of the first-level disciplines with the right to confer doctoral or master's degrees in China, and the evaluation results are announced by the Ministry of Education.

According to the principle of "accurate calculation and presentation by grade" and the ranking percentile of "overall level score of disciplines", the top 70% of disciplines are published in 9 grades.

The top 2% (or 2%) is A+, 2% ~ 5% is A (excluding 2%, the same below), 5% ~ 10% is A-, 10% ~ 20% is B+, 20% ~ 30% is B, and 30% is B.

Matters needing attention

Generally speaking, taking business administration as an example, A+ majors can be called the top in the country (such as China Renmin University); A major with a discipline ranking can also be called first-class in China (such as Nankai University); It is very difficult to take the postgraduate entrance examination for A+ and A subjects. If these schools are targeted, the test for candidates is very great.

A- and B+ majors are already very competitive in China (such as Shandong University and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law), and the examination is not difficult.
