According to the report, unlike the previous three rounds of evaluation, this evaluation does not publish scores. Peking University and Tsinghua University ranked first in the country with 2 1 A+ level disciplines, while Zhejiang University, China Renmin University and China University of Science and Technology ranked second with 1 1, 9 and 7 A+ level disciplines respectively.
It is reported that the discipline evaluation is the overall level evaluation of the first-level disciplines with the right to confer doctoral and master's degrees by the degree center of the Ministry of Education. It was first conducted in 2002, with an average of four rounds, and has been completed four times so far. It is a non-administrative and service evaluation project conducted by a third party, which is different from the qualification evaluation conducted by the government.
According to the relevant person in charge of the degree center, the four first-level index frames of this evaluation index system remain basically unchanged, including "teaching staff and resources", "talent training quality", "scientific research level" and "social service and discipline reputation", and nine sets of index system frames are set up, including humanities, social sciences, science and engineering, agronomy, medicine, management, art, architecture and sports.
