The College of Continuing Education of Hunan Agricultural University is a public institution. The College of Continuing Education of Hunan Agricultural University, formerly known as the Correspondence Department of Hunan Agricultural University, was established in 1956. 1980 was renamed as the Training Department of Agricultural Cadres of Hunan Agricultural University, 1987 was developed into the Department of Adult Education of Hunan Agricultural University, and 1994 established the College of Adult Education of Hunan Agricultural University.
