Since 1989, he has been engaged in the teaching and research of educational theory in Yuncheng College of Shanxi, Teachers College of Shanxi University (now taiyuan normal College) and Shanxi University.
During the period 1994, he was promoted to associate professor and professor in 2004; 1996 was rated as a young and middle-aged backbone teacher in colleges and universities in Shanxi Province; In the same year, he was rated as an outstanding expert in Shanxi Province by Shanxi Provincial Party Committee and Shanxi Provincial People's Government. 1996- 1998 served as deputy director (presiding) and acting director of the Department of Education of Teachers College of Shanxi University; 1998 to 2000, served as principal in private primary and secondary schools; In 2007, he served as Dean of the School of Educational Sciences of Shanxi University.
Since the work of 1989, he has undertaken pedagogy, psychology, behavioral science, teaching art, teaching theory, educational philosophy, China preschool education history, educational evaluation, management philosophy, school management, educational science research methods,
Educational academic research mainly focuses on educational philosophy and curriculum and teaching theory. Since 1987, more than 70 papers and 2 monographs have been published in various academic journals.
During the period of1991-1993, Yuncheng College planned and implemented the "Curriculum Reform Experiment of Normal University Structure", and won the second prize of National Excellent Teaching Achievements in National Universities from 65438 to 0993, and co-chaired the "Research on Education in Extremely Poor Rural Areas", a key project of the Ministry of Education.
