Wudu Experimental Middle School is a new first-class boarding school with a high starting point built by the district committee and government in accordance with the standards of provincial model schools in order to adjust the layout of Wudu education, strengthen the allocation of resources, thoroughly solve the outstanding problems in compulsory education and further improve the quality of ordinary high school education.
The school is located in Liangshui Town, Wudu District, Longnan City, which is about 10 km away from the main urban area of Longnan City and covers an area of nearly 160 mu. The total investment of the school building is 280 million yuan, with a total construction area of1110,000 square meters, which is mainly composed of three functional areas: sports, teaching and living. The school has 65,430 single buildings.
Among them, the comprehensive experimental building has a construction area of 22,087.29 square meters, which is the sum of the areas of six teaching buildings, and the single building is the largest. There are two student apartments, a canteen and staff residential buildings to be built. When the school is fully completed, it will accommodate 5000 students.
There are 75 classes, 322 teachers and 3995 students. In recent years, the school has fully implemented the action plan of education informatization 2.0 and the spirit of relevant documents of provincial and municipal education informatization, aiming at achieving "three aspects, two highs and one big", insisting on overall planning, top-level design, pilot first, characteristic development, and high-standard configuration of education informatization, and realizing multi-network integration of smart education system, campus security system, intelligent broadcasting system, recording and broadcasting on-demand teaching system, patrol class system, electronic class card system and one-card system.
Adhering to the philosophy of "sunshine and harmony, giving full play to talents and pursuing Excellence" and the experimental spirit of "responsibility and self-confidence, courage to innovate, actions speak louder than words, and virtues compete first", the school actively guides the faculty to make unremitting efforts in behavior development education, gratitude education and safety education with moral education as the goal. Based on the reality, the school has established a school-running idea of combining arts and sciences and creating artistic and physical characteristics.
In order to further improve the online rate of undergraduate college entrance examination, in 20 18, the school made a ten-year development plan, and became sister schools with Jiaonan No.1 Middle School, Lanzhou No.2 Middle School and Lanzhou No.59 Middle School, and sent teachers to each other's schools to learn advanced teaching and management experience.
