1. To build a powerful country in higher education, we need to think from the perspective of realizing the community of human destiny, so that it can be understood and recognized by the whole world. This paper analyzes several understandings of higher education power, summarizes the present situation of higher education development, objectively shows the achievements and existing gaps in the construction of higher education power, puts forward the confidence guarantee of building a higher education power, and puts forward some suggestions on building a higher education power from the perspective of concrete implementation.

Give priority to the development of education, be self-reliant in science and technology, be driven by talents, speed up the construction of a powerful country in education, science and technology and talents, persist in cultivating talents for the country, comprehensively improve the quality of independent training of talents, strive to cultivate top-notch innovative talents, and gather talents from all over the world to use them.

In the process of higher education development, we have gradually established effective systems and mechanisms, and formed a relatively complete examination enrollment system, degree system and employment mechanism for higher education graduates. It should be said that the good or bad of a system should not be measured only by standards.

4. As far as the output of scientific papers is concerned, the gap between the quality of China's papers and that of the world powers is gradually narrowing. According to foreign media reports, the quantity and quality of scientific papers in China have improved. The number of citations by researchers is in the top 1%, and the total number of papers and citations is in the top 10%.
