Nanjing Industrial Vocational and Technical University is an undergraduate higher vocational school located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China. Formerly known as Nanjing Industrial Vocational and Technical School, it was established in 1978. The school has many disciplines such as engineering, management, literature, art, etc., and there are 42 majors covering engineering, management, culture, art and other fields. With the school-running concept of "integration of production and education, combination of morality and technology, application of skills and promotion of employment", it is committed to cultivating high-quality applied professionals and providing technical support and talent support for social and economic development and modern industrialization. Nanjing University of Technology is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. It is the first vocational education school named after "occupation" in the history of education in China. It is a pilot school of public undergraduate vocational education, the first batch of national demonstration vocational colleges, the first batch of higher vocational colleges approved to jointly hold higher vocational undergraduate majors with applied undergraduate students, the construction unit of Jiangsu high-level vocational colleges and Gao Zhuo vocational colleges, and the national high-quality vocational colleges.
