Love is needed everywhere in life, and love is everywhere. It may be a clear spring in the desert; This is the new green of dead trees; It is a greeting when you are sick; It's a shining star in the night sky. Education and poverty alleviation are the seeds of this love.
I am a teacher at Xiaoyifa Central Primary School. According to the unified arrangement of the Education Bureau, Tangyu Town Education Committee and the school, like more than 20 teachers in the school, I was arranged to help at home. Wu xx is one of the students I have helped.
At the beginning of my story, like many colleagues at the same school, I started my road to poverty alleviation with propaganda materials for poverty alleviation. Before I went to Wu xx's house for the first time, I was a little uneasy. Because when I was at school, I learned something about her family from Wu xx: her grandfather was deaf, her grandmother had polio since childhood, her father also had polio, and her parents worked outside all the year round.
In view of this family situation, will I be turned away from going to poverty alleviation this time? After walking for more than 20 minutes, we finally came to her house by asking. Sure enough, her door was locked, so I found Wu xx who was playing by asking about the children playing in the village. Through inquiry, I know that my parents work in other places all the year round and don't see each other several times a year. My grandparents haven't finished farm work in the orchard these days. Without supervision, she doesn't feel that she is finishing her homework, but playing with her classmates. Just as I was getting to know the situation, her grandparents came back from work and hurriedly called me and my colleagues to sit at home.
In this way, Wu xx returned home. After knowing the actual situation of her family and publicizing the poverty alleviation policy through education, I saw that she had not finished her homework. I volunteered to ask her about the completion of her homework. She told me that she had done a little at school, and there were still many unfinished problems that she couldn't do. I began to explain the day's homework to her. During the explanation, I found that as a sophomore, I didn't remember the multiplication formula! I took the initiative to help her analyze the rules of multiplication formula, help her remember it, and told her to take the time to memorize it as soon as possible. Through home visits, I got a close and in-depth understanding of Wu xx's family situation and learning difficulties. In the following time, I chatted with Wu xx as soon as I had time to understand her difficulties in life and study, and helped her review her knowledge of mathematics learning during recess and after school. At the same time, I also appointed two top students in my class to help her study and study habits.
To sum up, to help the poor first, and to help the wise is to help the poor. In order to prevent the intergenerational spread of poverty, to help this poor family out of the predicament, and to make Zhang Xueqin finish her studies as smoothly as other children, I insist on talking with her every week, asking her about her difficulties in her students and life, helping her to correct her learning attitude and build up her confidence in her study and life. Through months of unremitting efforts, Wu xx is slowly growing up.
Through this poverty alleviation practice, as a young comrade party member, I feel a heavy burden on my shoulders. If I want to make more contributions to the society and help those who are struggling, I will use my practical actions to change some things that I can change, so that more children with difficulties can ask for material and spiritual poverty.
According to the deployment of the State Council of the CPC Central Committee and the unified arrangement of the School Poverty Alleviation Office, I arranged a poverty alleviation object-Liu xx of Class XX. The student lives in Xiaoliantang, xx village, XX county, surrounded by mountains, which is a place with extremely inconvenient transportation. Most of the young laborers in the village go out to work to make a living, leaving only the old and the young at home, which has added a lot of anxiety to the already congested village. Liu xx is withdrawn, with average grades, crying, divorced parents and dependent on grandparents. Facing the children of such a family, I know that she needs care, more love from her parents and more attention from her teachers. So I started my journey to help the poor. First, home visits to understand the situation
Faced with such a family, I made a home visit for the first time. September 27th, 20 17, the first home visit. From her grandfather's mouth, I learned that there is an only child in her family. She loves learning and wants to learn very much. She is a quiet girl, withdrawn and doesn't like talking to others. Many problems of left-behind children are exposed.
2. Inspirational education: Parents divorce and live with grandparents. Such a family will have different life orientations. I am well aware of the psychological problems of this caring child. When I am free, I will tell her some stories about celebrities and some common sense in life, so that she can understand that life is not just about learning, but also a lot of fun. I should open my heart and go out. Through learning, education and encouragement, she has her own life values and correct goals and directions. Now, she will work hard and strive for her goals. I think she has grown up.
Learning guidance I teach mathematics in this class. In the first grade, I found that she was not active in learning, could not raise her hand to answer questions, was timid by nature, was afraid of life, loved to cry, and had no courage to do things. I also realize that her problem can't be solved in a day or two, so I made a long-term plan, giving her a little encouragement and surprise every day, and sometimes patiently guiding her on topics she can't do. Sometimes I will sacrifice my rest time to help her learn what she doesn't have and make progress gradually. By the third day, I found that she was making slow progress, and her grades had climbed from the bottom to the top of the class. I'm happy for her. Now she can raise her hand to answer questions in every class, and she can master every knowledge point in the class. She made progress and I smiled.
Through a home visit and usual understanding, I know that she likes learning and falls in love with it. I bought her some books that she likes to read. Pursuing perfection, she bought her a copybook synchronized with the textbook. While learning new knowledge, she mastered the words in the textbook and bought her some fruits she loved when she was free. Through these little loves, I found that this quiet little girl is becoming more and more generous now.
