Among the first-level disciplines of pedagogy, 3 1 universities in China have "doctoral authorization" and 30 universities are participating in this evaluation; Some universities with "master's authorization" also participated in the evaluation; Participating universities 10 1 (note: universities with the same evaluation results are ranked in no particular order, according to the school code).

The fourth round of subject evaluation is based on the principle of "voluntary application and free participation" and adopts the method of "combining objective evaluation with subjective evaluation". The evaluation system has made many innovations on the basis of the first three rounds; The evaluation data is obtained in the way of "combining public data with unit declaration"; The evaluation results are presented in the form of "grading". The specific method is to announce the top 70% of the subjects in nine grades according to the percentile of the "overall level score of subjects": the top 2% (or the top 2) is A+, 2% ~ 5% is A (excluding 2%, the same below), and 5% ~ 10% is A.
