The militia training base in Sujiatun District of Shenyang is one of the first "Shenyang National Defense Education Bases" named by Shenyang National Defense Education Committee.

The base is located in Yujiawazi Village, Shahe, Sujiatun District, with superior geographical environment and convenient transportation. It's only 30 kilometers away from Shenyang City and 10 kilometers away from Taoxian Airport. The base covers an area of more than 30,000 square meters. The base has a 4-storey complex building, with a canteen building area of 1000 square meters and 4 dining areas with a business area of 250 square meters. It is divided into a staple food processing area and a non-staple food processing area, which can accommodate more than 300 people for self-service dining at the same time. There are two floors in the dormitory area, with a comprehensive living security center, with a construction area of 2,000 square meters, which can guarantee about 450 people to stay at the same time. There is a multi-function hall in the building, which can accommodate 400 people for meetings and training at the same time, and a small conference room which can accommodate 10- 15 people at the same time. There are three comprehensive training grounds, covering a total area of more than 30,000 square meters. There are 100 m and 200 m standard shooting ranges, standard reviewing stands and other related supporting facilities, which can accommodate more than 1000 people to train at the same time.
