1. One-sided pursuit of achievements and neglect of quality education for students.
The word-of-mouth of a school depends on the enrollment rate, the word-of-mouth of teachers depends on teaching achievements, and the word-of-mouth of students depends on the ranking of the school. The utility of education is so obvious. In order to pursue students' good grades, the school only pays attention to exam-oriented subjects, and some minor subjects and minor subjects that do not need exams are useless, and even teachers are too lazy to equip them. Take my school as an example, minor subjects such as music, art, common sense and mental health education have never really been offered.
One-sided pursuit of grades and neglect of comprehensive quality education for students will lead to poor grades of many students with learning difficulties, a decline in their ideological and moral level, and even failure to meet the basic quality requirements of qualified citizens. They have no hope of further study at school, and hate studying, skipping classes, fighting and even committing crimes. After entering the society, if you want to find a job you like, you will run into a wall everywhere, and it will easily become an unstable factor in society.
2. One-sided pursuit of standard answers, ignoring students' innovation.
Our educational slogan is "student-centered" and "student-centered", but in the process of imparting knowledge, teachers' teaching is still the center and the main body. Even Chinese, a subject with strong divergent thinking, requires students to recite standard answers, not to mention other subjects. Teachers teach standard answers, engage in sea tactics, and pay no attention to what students want to learn.
What's wrong with students' learning methods? I don't care whether students are innovative or not. Most of the students taught in this way of education are bookworms who value theory over practice, lack creativity and dare not fight.
3. One-sided pursuit of classroom teaching, ignoring extracurricular activities.
Many school leaders have problems with their thinking. They believe that in order to improve the enrollment rate, quality must be required in the classroom. Therefore, every class is full from Monday to Friday, and every class requires teachers to talk about knowledge points, leaving no time for students to study by themselves and extracurricular activities. As we all know, extracurricular activities are a good opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge, develop their hobbies and cultivate their personality.
Nowadays, many schools deprive these opportunities, and students have more and more homework and heavier schoolwork. In the long run, it will definitely stifle students' nature, hinder the development of students' personality, hobbies and specialties, and is not conducive to cultivating all-round talents.
4. One-sided pursuit of militarized management, ignoring the individual needs of students.
The more famous junior high schools or high schools are, the more emphasis is placed on militarized management. Students have a unified hairstyle, uniform ordered by the school, unified teaching progress and unified examination standards. Under the standard of militarized management, it only emphasizes that students should obey and abide by the rules, but ignores the modernization consciousness of students' self-esteem, self-reliance, self-confidence and self-improvement
So many high school students and junior high school students we meet are very tired and come and go quietly, which is not what teenagers should look like at all.
