The construction objectives of the experimental center of the college are: to focus on building an experimental platform for basic biology and strive to become a provincial experimental teaching demonstration center for basic biology courses; Considering the construction of two professional experimental platforms, namely, bioengineering and food science and engineering, the experimental platform of biology in our experimental center has the leading level in the province in terms of hardware and software, which can efficiently serve undergraduate teaching, radiate postgraduate education and scientific research, and become an open experimental teaching platform of biology in Fuzhou University Town with the leading level in Fujian Province.
Our laboratory includes microbiology laboratory, general biology laboratory, cell biology laboratory, biochemistry laboratory and various professional laboratories, with a total experimental area of about 6000 square meters. At present, there are about 600 undergraduates, and the average laboratory area will reach 10 square meter.
The reference room of our college provides books and periodicals borrowing and document copying services for teachers and students. At present, the college reference room is open to teachers and students every Friday, with 778 Chinese books, 54 western books, 32 documents 1 newspapers1magazines 1349.
In the past five years, the college has actively raised funds, and the annual investment in books and materials has increased year by year.
