The ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities is the main channel and position for systematic Marxist theory education and ideological and political education for college students, and it is also an important guarantee for adhering to the socialist school-running direction. The main task of ideological and political theory teaching is to guide and help college students to establish Marxist world outlook, outlook on life and values with scientific theory, and to establish Socialism with Chinese characteristics's common ideal. It plays an irreplaceable role in training contemporary college students to become builders and successors of the socialist cause. Therefore, we should unswervingly adhere to the role of ideological and political theory courses as the main channel in college students' ideological and political education and regard the construction of ideological and political theory courses as the core work of college students' ideological and political education.

First, promote ideological and political theory education in colleges and universities with the socialist core value system.

The report of the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out: "The socialist core value system is the essential embodiment of socialist ideology. It is necessary to consolidate the guiding position of Marxism, persist in arming the whole party and educating the people with the latest achievements of Marxism in China, unite strength with Socialism with Chinese characteristics's common ideal, inspire fighting spirit with patriotism as the core and the spirit of the times with reform and innovation as the core, lead the fashion with the socialist concept of honor and disgrace, and consolidate the common ideological foundation for the United struggle of the whole party and the people of all nationalities. " The construction of socialist core value system points out the direction for strengthening and improving the teaching of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities. Integrating the socialist core value system into the whole process of "moral education" in colleges and universities is an inevitable choice for colleges and universities to train qualified socialist builders and reliable successors.

First, arm students' minds with Marxist theory. In the teaching of ideological and political theory, we must systematically, comprehensively and deeply teach the basic principles of Marxism and adhere to the guiding position of Marxism; Insist on guiding practice with the latest achievements of Marxism, especially Marxism in China, arm the minds of young students and guide them to establish a correct world outlook, outlook on life and values; Constantly explore new methods and mechanisms to strengthen Marxist education; Guide students to establish a correct attitude and learn Marxism as truth.

Second, use Socialism with Chinese characteristics's common ideal to guide students to establish correct ideals and beliefs. Facing the reality of diversified values in the market economy, young college students often show a strong practical and utilitarian tendency. Therefore, we should educate them to establish correct ideals and beliefs and unswervingly follow the Socialism with Chinese characteristics road; Encourage them to truly integrate their personal ideals into the great practice of Socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Third, unify students' patriotism with the national spirit with patriotism as the core. First of all, guide young students to draw nutrition from the excellent cultural heritage and fine traditions of the Chinese nation and deepen their patriotic feelings; Secondly, carry out education on the history of CPC and China revolution, so that students can realize that without * *, there would be no new China, and there would be no great achievements in Socialism with Chinese characteristics construction; Finally, carry out the education of "integration of knowledge and practice", guide students to combine patriotic consciousness with patriotic behavior, prepare for participating in the construction of Socialism with Chinese characteristics, and carry forward the spirit of the Chinese nation with practical actions.

Fifth, use the education of socialist concept of honor and disgrace to consolidate the foundation of students' moral quality. Learning attitude. Therefore, teachers of ideological and political theory courses must strengthen their theoretical quality and knowledge level. First of all, teachers of ideological and political theory courses must strengthen their belief in Marxist theory, arm their minds with Deng Xiaoping Theory and Theory of Three Represents's theory, and strive to improve their theoretical accomplishment; Secondly, we should fully understand the importance and urgency of strengthening and improving college students' ideological and political education, enhance their sense of historical mission and responsibility, actively understand and study students' ideological trends, activity information and social hot and difficult issues, and strive to give active guidance from the combination of theory and practice. Thirdly, college teachers should constantly improve their academic qualifications and professional titles, participate in all aspects of research and study, and constantly improve the level of scientific research to promote teaching through scientific research. Of course, university leaders should provide more conditions and opportunities for ideological and political theory teachers to study, discuss and understand the society and students' ideological reality.

Third, improve the teaching methods and means of ideological and political theory courses.

College students' acceptance of ideological and political theory courses mainly depends on the teaching forms and methods. Therefore, we must constantly improve the teaching methods and means of ideological and political theory courses, improve students' interest in learning and enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political theory courses. First of all, we should adopt heuristic teaching methods and actively guide students to discuss with reality. Secondly, make full use of network technology. The author has collected a large number of pictures and video materials related to the teaching content, and achieved sound and emotional effects in the process of multimedia teaching. Thirdly, in the course of class, the author puts forward questions from beginning to end, so that students are always in an excited state of thinking. Finally, strengthen social practice activities, lead students to participate in social practice activities such as "going to the countryside", or guide students to carry out social practice activities independently and write social investigation reports. In a word, the ideological and political education of college students is carried out by combining "indoctrination" with "infiltration", combining theory with practice, combining guiding education with self-education, and solving ideological problems with practical problems.

Fourth, break through the single evaluation method of students, explore open questions and cultivate innovative ability.

In the performance evaluation of ideological and political theory course, students' ideological and moral quality should be comprehensively evaluated from two levels: understanding and mastering basic concepts, basic viewpoints and basic methods, as well as their ability to analyze and solve problems with theory. It is necessary to evaluate students' rational cognitive ability and their actual performance. In this regard, multiple assessment methods and comprehensive evaluation criteria should be implemented to evaluate students' achievements scientifically, objectively and comprehensively. Open-book examination should be widely used, and open-ended examination questions should be widely used in examination design. Examination papers account for 70% of the total score, and writing small papers or investigation reports accounts for 30% of the total score. The results of theory and practice are comprehensively evaluated according to a certain proportion. Among them, students should be encouraged to express their original opinions in the theoretical examination. As long as there is a little innovation, they should be affirmed and given high marks; In practice, we should listen to the opinions of the head teachers, counselors, teachers and student cadres in the college (department) where students are located, and strive to combine ideological and political theory teaching with ideological and political work in various departments of the school to improve the overall effect of ideological and political theory teaching. In addition to test scores, we should actively introduce various evaluation techniques and software to comprehensively test and evaluate students' moral, intellectual, physical and psychological qualities. In a word, the evaluation standard of performance appraisal should be comprehensive, practical and creative, so as to encourage students' innovative consciousness and spirit and completely change the single evaluation method of evaluating students by exam results in the past.
