II. The 13th Five-Year Plan for Poverty Alleviation in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (Ning [2065438+07] No.25) stipulates that:
On the basis of the existing subsidy policy, we will continue to implement the preferential subsidy policy for students from poor families who have set up files and set up cards.
Starting from the spring semesters of 1 and 20 17, school-age children from poor households in kindergartens in the whole region (including disabled children from poor rural households who have not established a file card) will be exempted from education fees and given food subsidies.
From 2.20 16, tuition fees will be exempted for ordinary high school students from poor families who set up a file card, and free education will be gradually realized for ordinary high school students from poor families who set up a file card (tuition fees, accommodation fees and textbook fees will be exempted).
From 3.20 16, students of secondary vocational schools affiliated to Guyuan City will be exempted from accommodation fees and book fees, and will be subsidized for living expenses.
4. Tuition fees shall be reduced or exempted for higher vocational students of agriculture and forestry teachers enrolled in colleges and universities in our region and for higher vocational students with financial difficulties in other majors. Schools (colleges) should give priority to providing work-study jobs; Students from poor families who have been admitted to full-time colleges and universities inside and outside the region will be given credit loans from their places of origin.
