Yiwu was called "Wu Shang" in ancient times. As of 20 19, it is still a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, China.
Jinhua has two municipal districts of Wucheng and Jin Dong, four cities of Lanxi, Yiwu, Dongyang and Yongkang, and three counties of Wuyi, Pujiang and Pan 'an. The municipal government is located at No.801Shuanglong South Street, Wucheng District.
