Yichun Vocational College, located in Yimei District, Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, is a full-time general institution of higher learning approved by the Ministry of Education. It was gradually developed on the basis of the merger of Yichun Branch of Heilongjiang University, Yichun Normal School of Heilongjiang Province and Yichun Health School. Heilongjiang Yichun Forestry Normal School was founded in 1958. Heilongjiang Forestry Teachers College was established in 1984. 1993 the Heilongjiang provincial government agreed to enroll students in the name of Yichun branch of Heilongjiang university, and the training level was junior college.
The school has five secondary colleges, including Medical Technology College, Teachers College, Tourism Business School, Engineering Applied Technology College and Computer Applied Technology College, and two teaching departments, namely, Public Teaching Department and Ideological and Political Teaching Department, which offer stomatology and nursing.
