After registration, the other party pulled in a "Suntech Refund Transaction" in the software. According to the requirements of the other party, the operation began. There was a rebate at first, so I believed it. Later, the other party committed fraud on the grounds that the victim's operation was wrong and the account was frozen, resulting in a loss of 26,700 yuan.
2. On June 3rd, 2022, Taizhou 165438+ Lumou reported that he had received a short message, the content of which was that Suntech was acquired by Huatai Securities, and the tuition fee was now refunded. Subsequently, he added the QQ group provided in the short message through QQ, downloaded and registered the "Huatai Securities" software through the link according to the requirements of the group, and the customer service in the software asked him to transfer money on the grounds that the tuition fee could be refunded by recharging as required, resulting in a total loss of 19 170 yuan.
3. On June 2, 2022165438+1October 2, Jiang of Changzhou reported that he had received a text message claiming to be Suntech, saying that he had been acquired by Huatai Securities, and the other party asked him to join the QQ group and refund his tuition. He downloaded Huatai Securities in the group according to the customer service requirements. The customer service transferred 225 yuan to Jiang on the grounds of refunding part of his tuition fees, and then asked him to transfer money on the grounds of recharging and then refunding.

The criminals will obtain the information of relevant training institutions through illegal means, pretend to be the customer service staff of the training institutions, and then stage a performance through some "entrustment" to confuse the victims. If you receive a phone call claiming that the training institution will refund the fee, you must be vigilant and verify the authenticity through official channels.
