Chengdu normal university is a full-time normal college, formerly known as Sichuan Education College, founded in 1955. The school is located in Chengdu, the hinterland of China's famous historical and cultural city "Land of Abundance".
In March of 20 12, with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, Sichuan Institute of Education was renamed Chengdu Normal University, and in June of 20 12, Chengdu Normal University was officially unveiled. It has achieved a historic leap from adult undergraduate colleges to ordinary undergraduate colleges.
As of 20 12, the college has three campuses: Wenjiang, Rennan and Baiguolin. Wenjiang is the main campus, with 19 departments of Chinese, history, geography and tourism, politics and religion, foreign languages, primary education, preschool education, automobile engineering and media arts, more than 200 fixed off-campus teacher education practice bases, and machinery, architecture and logistics inside and outside the school.
Scientific research achievements: as of 20 12, the college has undertaken national, provincial and ministerial projects 1 16, including the national social science fund project, the project planned by the Ministry of Education and the project planned by the provincial science and technology department; Publicly published 1426 SCIentific research achievements, including monographs and textbooks 189, 73 papers included in sci and EI, and 222 papers in core journals. 37 achievements won the teaching and scientific research achievement award at or above the provincial and ministerial level.
