Hunan Normal University of Science and Technology officially enrolled students in September. The predecessor of Hunan Normal University is Nanyue College of Hengyang Normal University. The new campus of Nanyue College is developed and constructed in Zhuhui District of Hengyang City, namely Hunan Normal University of Science and Technology.

Hunan Normal University of Science and Technology is a private undergraduate college invested by Hunan Chu Medical Education Technology Co., Ltd. in Hengzhong. It is led by the Provincial Department of Education, and the principal responsibility system is implemented under the leadership of the Council.
