The school, formerly known as Beiliu May 7th Labor University, was founded in 1966, and was transformed into Beiliu Agricultural Middle School in 1976. It was transformed into Beiliu Vocational High School in 1986 with the reform of the education system, and was renamed as Beiliu No.1 Vocational and Technical School with the approval of the former Yulin District Administrative Office in May 1995. With the adjustment of educational structure and the deepening of educational reform, in June, 2002, with the approval of Beiliu Municipal Government, the school added "Beiliu No.8 Middle School". At present, the number of students in school1more than 200. The campus is full of high-rise buildings, with reasonable layout, elegant environment and fresh air, which is an ideal study place. Based on this school, the government is integrating the municipal traffic school, the municipal agricultural machinery school, the municipal labor and employment training center, the municipal agricultural technology extension school, the municipal dairy farm and other departments to form the Beiliu Vocational Education Center. Within two years, the government will invest 654.38+65 billion yuan, and plans to purchase 200 mu of land to build a comprehensive training building, a teaching building, a standard factory building and a sports ground with a 400-meter standard circular runway. It laid a material foundation for establishing national key vocational schools, strengthening Beiliu vocational education and improving the conditions for running Beiliu No.1 Middle School.
