This year's general college entrance examination in Hainan Province will be held from June 7th to 10. In 2023, the number of people taking the college entrance examination in Hainan Province was 70,069. There are 18 examination areas in the province (except Sansha City, each city and county has one examination area), 44 test sites and 2399 examination rooms.

The results of the college entrance examination are expected to be announced to candidates around June 25th, and the admission work will start in July 10 and end in August 15.

Du Mingxi, director of the Hainan Provincial Examinations Bureau, said that at present, the Education Department of Hainan Province, in conjunction with the Provincial Public Security Department, the Provincial People's Religious Affairs Committee and other member units of the Provincial High Recruitment Committee, strictly guard against and crack down on "college entrance examination immigrants" through big data screening, class attendance, supervision and reporting.

Strictly guard against empty registration and fraud, strictly implement the publicity system, further strengthen the examination of candidates' qualifications and extra points, and earnestly safeguard the fairness and justice of examination enrollment.

At present, according to the unified requirements, each test center in Hainan has further implemented a detailed simulation exercise plan, and simulated the key links such as entrance security check and listening test process, as well as special situations such as sudden power outage and extreme weather, further optimized the detailed process and mastered emergency measures.

Hainan severely cracked down on all kinds of illegal and criminal activities related to exams in accordance with the law, and strictly prevented and cracked down on high-tech cheating such as mobile phones. Strictly implement that mobile phones are not brought into the test center, and set up a centralized management area for mobile phones at the entrance of the test center;

Strengthen entrance security inspection, all test sites are equipped with intelligent security doors according to the standard, and "2+ 1+X" security inspection is implemented (that is, two manual security inspections plus one intelligent door security inspection, and the personnel who apply for security inspection are rechecked several times until the hidden dangers are eliminated);

Radio signal (including 5G) shielding equipment is fully installed in the test center to ensure that high-tech communication equipment such as mobile phones cannot be brought in, hidden, used or transmitted.

This year, Hainan opened the "Looking at the Examination Room on the Cloud" for the first time to provide convenience for candidates. From June 2 nd, candidates can log in to Haiyi Office to check the layout of test sites, familiarize themselves with the admission process in advance and adapt to the examination environment as soon as possible.

In view of the hot weather in Hainan, all the test sites in the province are equipped with air conditioners, which are fully maintained and overhauled before the exam. All test sites are equipped with AED (Cardiac Defibrillator) equipment according to the standard, and emergency personnel have been trained.

In accordance with the relevant regulations, Hainan Provincial Examinations Bureau negotiated with the Provincial Disabled Persons' Federation and the Affiliated Hospital of Shanghai Medical University, and provided 17 disabled candidates with reasonable examination facilities such as extending the examination time and exempting English listening.

In view of the possible typhoon or thunderstorm weather, the Provincial Meteorological Bureau provides special weather forecast for the college entrance examination, and the Provincial Examination Bureau will closely link up with the Provincial Meteorological Bureau to release the examination meteorological information in time.
