Ya 'an Health School is a public full-time ordinary college approved by the provincial government and put on record by the Ministry of Education in April 2002. With the original Ya 'an Health School as the main body, it merged with Ya 'an Education College, Ya 'an Finance and Trade School, Ya 'an Agricultural Machinery School and Ya 'an Industrial Technology School.

College is a higher vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education with the enrollment qualification of clinical medicine and education.
