In May 2003, with the approval of the people's government of the autonomous region, Xilingol Vocational College was formed by the merger of the former Ximeng Education College, Inner Mongolia TV University Ximeng Branch, Ximeng Health School and Ximeng National Finance and Trade School.

In 2006, Xilin Gol League Animal Husbandry School and Xilin Gol League Animal Husbandry School merged into Xilin Gol Vocational College.

June 5438 +20091October Ximeng National Sports School was merged into Xilin Gol Vocational College.

Ximeng College of Education was established in August 1978. In July, 2000, Ximeng Normal School built in June 1959 merged with Ximeng Mongolian Normal School built in August 1980. Ximeng Branch of Inner Mongolia TV University was established in April 1982, and Ximeng Health School was established in June 65438+. Ximeng National Finance and Trade School was established in June 1980, Xilinhot Animal Husbandry School was established in June 1965, Xilinhot Animal Husbandry Mechanization School was established in June 1959, and Ximeng National Sports School was established at the end of June 1984.

Xilingol Vocational College is formed by integrating the educational resources of nine colleges, and the accumulated experience and characteristics of each school for many years have laid the foundation for the rapid development of the college.
