I. Basic introduction

East China Institute of Technology, referred to as "ECUT", was founded in 1956. It is the first institution of higher learning in China's nuclear industry. It is a multidisciplinary university with the characteristics of earth science and nuclear science, mainly science and engineering, integrating economy, management, literature, law, teaching and art, which is jointly established by Jiangxi Provincial People's Government, National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, People's Republic of China (PRC) Ministry of Natural Resources and China National Nuclear Corporation. The school is a pilot university of the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan" of the Ministry of Education. The "11plan" of the Ministry of Education was selected as a university, the "Basic Capacity Building Project of Central and Western Universities" supported universities, and the "New Engineering" research and practice project was selected as a university and a national defense education characteristic school. It is the selection and training base of China People's Navy NCO and the talent training base of China National Nuclear Corporation.
