2. Align the light ① Turn the converter so that the low-power objective lens is aligned with the light hole ② and the larger aperture is aligned with the light hole. Leave the left eye in the eyepiece and open the right eye for later observation and drawing. You can see a bright field of vision by turning the mirror.
3. Observation ① Place the glass slide to be observed on the stage, press it with a tabletting clamp, and the specimen should face the light hole. (2) Turn the coarse focusing screw to slowly lower the lens barrel until the objective lens is close to the slide, and keep your eyes on the objective lens to prevent it from touching the slide specimen.
③ Look at the eyepiece with the left eye, and at the same time, rotate the coarse focusing screw reversely, so that the lens barrel rises slowly until the object can be seen clearly. Then turn the fine focusing screw slightly to make the image of the object clearer.
