Regulations on education of ethnic minorities
Article 9 Parents or other guardians must ensure that minority children who leave their domicile with their parents or other guardians and live in the inflow areas receive and complete compulsory education for a certain number of years. The education administrative departments and minority schools in the inflow areas shall arrange and accept their enrollment in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state and the province.
Article 10 Minority schools that teach Chinese or their own spoken and written languages (hereinafter referred to as bilingual teaching) may appropriately extend the academic system.
