Educational psychology is a discipline that studies the changing and developing laws of various psychological phenomena in the process of school education.
Educational psychology has always been based on learning psychological problems. Today, it seems that learning psychology is still its core, but we can't generalize, ignore or weaken other important aspects. The cultivation of people is not only to master cultural and scientific knowledge and skills, especially the educational goal of socialism in China. It has long been clearly stipulated that education should make the educated develop morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically in an all-round way and become a new person with all-round personality development. Although the cultivation of good moral character, healthy physique and aesthetic psychology is related to learning, it can not be formed only by knowledge learning like mastering general cultural and scientific knowledge, but has its specific formation law. At present, China is still in the primary stage of socialism, and it is urgent for the younger generation to cultivate a dialectical materialist world outlook on the basis of mastering the latest modern cultural and scientific knowledge, form a fully developed personality of communism, become an ideal, moral, educated and disciplined talent, and shoulder the heavy responsibility of rejuvenating the Chinese nation.
The educational process is a multi-dimensional and multi-factor complex process. In a broad sense, the education process includes family education, social education and group education besides school education and teaching. In a narrow sense, the educational process refers to the process of carrying out educational activities in the school context, mainly the process of how students learn effectively, how to guide students to learn and how to cultivate students to improve their personality and morality. As far as school education is concerned, the educational process includes four factors: teachers, students, educational content and educational means. Teachers and students are the most active factors in the process of school education, and they are also the two main bodies in the process of education. Teachers are the main body of education and students are the main body of learning. Psychological activities and behavioral changes caused by their interaction have become the main content of educational psychology research. Educational content is the cognitive object of both teachers and students, and it is the basis of teachers' teaching and students' learning. Educational means is the medium of educational process, which connects teachers, students and teaching content. The transmission of teaching content or scientific information and the implementation of educational means have complex psychological problems for the cultivation of people. Therefore, the structural system of educational psychology must be closely determined by the psychological changes and development of various factors in the educational process. Moreover, the whole education process is always a process of students' moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic development, which is not only the development of cognitive factors, but also the development of non-cognitive factors. In this respect, educational psychology is closely related to children's physical and mental development, and educational psychology is based on children's physical and mental development.
The content of educational psychology is complex and extensive. As mentioned above, it is closely related to many disciplines. It is necessary to strictly distinguish educational psychology from other related disciplines, otherwise the content will be repeated. We must never include all the contents of the branches involved. The content of educational psychology should be a high generalization of each branch, and it is a commanding, guiding and theoretical basis for each branch. Only on the basis of the educational process, comprehensively explore the changes and development laws of various psychological phenomena involved in the educational process, can we correctly establish the system and content of educational psychology. According to the characteristics of China's educational practice and the requirements of deepening educational reform, we believe that the system and content of educational psychology should include the following knowledge.
