On July 1 2065438, the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) passed Article 14 of the National Security Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), and designated April 15 as the National Security Education Day for all.

National security refers to the ability of state power, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, people's well-being, sustainable economic and social development and other major national interests to be relatively free from dangers and internal and external threats, and to ensure a continuous state of security.

The state will strengthen national security news propaganda and public opinion guidance, and carry out national security publicity and education activities through various forms. Obligations for safeguarding national security:

Article 77 of the National Security Law of People's Republic of China (PRC): Citizens and organizations shall perform the following obligations to safeguard national security.

1. Abide by the relevant provisions of the Constitution, laws and national security regulations.

3. Truthfully provide known evidence of activities endangering national security.

4, to provide convenience or other assistance for national security work.

5. Provide necessary support and assistance to state security organs, public security organs and relevant military organs.
