What does foster care mean?
Detention and reeducation is a compulsory education and reform measure for minors under the age of 16 who are not subject to criminal punishment according to the criminal law. It is an administrative punishment measure. Detention and reeducation through labor must be examined and approved by the public security organs at or above the local administrative office and executed by the juvenile reformatory. The general period of receiving education is 1-3 years.
