Baicheng normal University is the only provincial undergraduate college in western Jilin Province, which is located at the intersection of Jilin, Heilongjiang and Inner Mongolia provinces. The school was founded in 1958, formerly known as baicheng normal College. In August 2000, Baicheng Forestry School, which was originally affiliated to the State Forestry Administration, merged. In March 2002, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed baicheng normal College.
In 2007, it began to jointly train graduate students with Northeast Normal University. In 2008, it passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education. The college covers an area of 637,654,38+0,000 square meters with a building area of 246,000 square meters. It has 19 teaching units and 50 undergraduate majors.
