In the Symphony of Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park, Ying Ge Ridge is a symphonic poem combining sound and painting, which is the lyric climax of the whole song.
Ying Ge Mountain is rugged, which is related to its height and special location. The Ying Ge Ridge, whose mountain shape resembles the mouth of Ying Ge, is the second highest peak in Hainan, the hub of Hainan's land, an important water source protection site in Hainan Island, and the youngest and largest national nature reserve in Hainan.
Zuimei original ecology
The original ecological ridge of Ying Ge is very beautiful. It is the first time for me to see such a beautiful forest: some trees are full of flowers, some trees are full of bluegrass, some trees are full of ganoderma lucidum, and some trees are full of moss; Wild peony has a low figure and is very cute in the sun.
Stepping on the thick rainforest moss, every foot is like stepping on a soft carpet. We climbed halfway up the mountain. There is the former site of Qiongya Column Command, which is the first park in Hainan with the theme of patriotism education. In the 1940s, Feng Baiju, known as "a banner of Qiongya people", joined forces with the leaders of the Li people's uprising, and established a revolutionary base here, which became a red landmark of the Ridge.
Go further and go higher. On both sides of the mountain road, five-needled pine trees cover the sky, mixed with azaleas unique to Ying Ge Ridge. Under the cliff, it is a happy stream, and the terraces are pleasing to the eye ... The car turned countless corners and came to Fengcun, the highest Li village in Hainan Island, the birthplace of Nandujiang (one of the sources). Rugged mountain roads, dense forests, beautiful rivers and simple villagers have jointly built Gao Feng Village into a paradise.
Ying Ge Ridge has bred countless rivers and lakes, such as cobweb-like rivers and dotted lakes, which have shaped rich landforms, influenced the climate of the whole island, dominated the water system of Hainan Island and provided inexhaustible water resources for animals and plants. In order to protect the tropical rain forest as a whole, all villages in the core area of Hainan Tropical Rain Forest National Park should be relocated as a whole. Gao Feng Village, located in the core area of ecological protection, started its ecological relocation several years ago. There is no Gao Feng Village in the world, only Yinpo Village, the first ecological migration village in Hainan.
Bird's paradise
Ying Ge has created conditions for diverse organisms to inhabit and multiply, and has become an important natural gene bank of biological species in China. There are many national protected animals and plants and "endangered" and "vulnerable" species in the world, and the number of newly recorded animals and plants is far ahead, among which the Bole tree can only be found in Ying Ge Mountain. A new subspecies of Papilio was found in Hailing, Ying Ge, and named as "Papilio hainanensis subspecies", which is also a new recorded genus in China. There are many kinds of insects in Ying Ge, and there are countless rare insects. The Chinese horseshoe crab, which is extremely rare in aquatic insects, and the giant horseshoe crab in Hainan both choose to "brush their sense of existence" here. Black snakehead is an indicator species of ecological environment and can only live in virgin forests. Its discovery irrefutably confirmed the good ecology of Ying Ge Ridge.
There are many birds in Mount Ying Ge, and the number is huge. The observed birds account for more than 90% of the total number of forest birds in Hainan, which is regarded as the representative place of "Hainan forest bird diversity". Birds live happily here. They don't have to endure the cold, they don't have to worry about lack of food, and they don't have to migrate long distances like migratory birds. They are so happy that they sing all year round and sing the most beautiful sounds in nature. On the ridge of Ying Ge, birds can be seen jumping on branches and displaying colorful wings, which is their brightest courtship signal.
Bird watching is really a pleasure. A bird-watching enthusiast once wrote in an article that the birds he saw in Ying Ge Ridge included the Black Pillow King Bird, the Indo-Chinese Green Magpie, the Silver-breasted Silk-crested Bird, the Red-headed Rhododendron, the Brown-breasted Laughter, the Chestnut-cheeked Laughter, and the Hainan Thrushcross, the Hainan Claudia Birch and the Hainan Peacock Pheasant, which were extremely rare. Ying Ge Ridge is a classic scenic spot for bird watching and shooting. Every spring is the best bird-watching season in Ying Ge Ridge. Tourists, photographers and bird lovers at home and abroad will come as scheduled, and many shocking "blockbusters" will come out.
Animal paradise
Ying Ge Ridge is a paradise for animals and plants and home to many unusual wild animals.
Hainan Mole, with large wings and long tail, is a unique flying arboreal animal in Hainan and one of the most iconic animals in Ying Ge. It has a super-sensitive sense of smell. It hides in a tree hole during the day and doesn't show respect easily. It only comes out at night and starts to move after making sure there is no danger. Even under abnormal circumstances, it is very calm, quickly dives into the ground, and its body is still dexterous.
Colorful poisonous spiders hide their dangers. Xia once taught me how to avoid them. The round-nosed monitor lizard is fierce and aggressive. A gang once said, in fact, it is bullying. Centipede is a master assassin in the bushes, and I know roosters, scorpions and ants are its sworn enemies. What scared me most was the snake, a striped emerald snake on a tree, which scared me out of my wits and fled. Local friends laughed when they saw it, and they have long been used to it.
Colorful snakes are magical products of natural evolution. More than 100 million years have passed, and the sea has already changed. Snakes are still running around the world, crawling and jumping, dormant and attacking. It is a mythical animal in the west, which originated from ancient Greek myths and legends. Snake has become a medical symbol all over the world. "Mobil Li" in the Li nationality also thinks that snakes have magical power, and also regards snakes as totems. When tattooing or tattooing, they will be tattooed with snake-like patterns, so "Mobil Li" is also called "Mobil from snakes". Green snake Zhu, deadly snake beauty, golden snake and silver snake, the largest python on the earth, the longest and most dangerous poisonous king cobra in the world ... all of them found their Garden of Eden on the ridge of Ying Ge.
The snake can only lie in ambush on the ground, but its natural enemy, the snake carving, is eyeing up in the air. The snake sculpture lives in the depths of the forest. When it flies in the sky, it sounds like whistling, which reminds me of Thoreau's eagle: "It is not very lonely, but it makes the whole earth below it look lonely." Hainan snake carving subspecies is also a special subspecies of China. It is the only resident bird in Hainan, mainly inhabiting Ying Ge Ridge, and belongs to the national second-class protected wild animals. Although the snake carving is small, it is a vicious character. The way to catch snakes is bloody, and the way to enjoy a big meal is shocking. "A snake devours an elephant without a heart" is an image imagined by human beings, but it is a bloody fact that a snake carving devours the whole snake alive. Maybe you haven't heard of snake carving, at least you know the allusion of "drinking poison to quench thirst"? Yes, what the ancients called "zhenniao" is a snake sculpture.
There are many strange-looking animals in the tropical rain forest of Hainan. The unique natural environment and climatic conditions have created the unique amphibians and reptiles in Hainan, which have unique environmental adaptability.
Frogs look strange, but in the eyes of Li people, frogs growing in water have strong viability and are sacred. In the book "King Toad Lee", it is said that frogs have divinity, are good at witchcraft, can spit out poisonous gas, and make people unconscious. They once defeated the officers and men of Wuzhishan, so they were elected as the new king Li. Therefore, there are many images of frogs in the tattoos and costume patterns of Li people, and frog buttons are also cast on the bronze gongs called frog gongs. Li people also believe that frogs can ward off evil spirits, bring people a good year and even control the weather. Therefore, frogs must be heard when "cutting hedges" burn mountains, otherwise it will offend the gods and reduce production.
There are dozens of species of Hainan frog, which is an irreplaceable group in nature: Hainan turbulent frog with round head and round brain, subminiature turbulent frog, Hainan false toad with strange appearance, Hainan creek tree frog with narrow body, as well as thorn frog, Hainan forest frog, spotted forest frog and scale frog. They all have their own way to survive in Ying Ge Ridge. Hainan frog, what a nice name. This delicate and lovely frog is a new species first discovered in Hailing, Ying Ge. The tree frog in Ying Ge Ridge was found in Ying Ge Ridge, and it was identified as a new species and named after the place where it was found. This is an important event, which shows that it has been recognized by taxonomists all over the world. Tree frogs have a high IQ. Females lay their eggs in groups on branches near puddles to avoid being eaten by natural enemies. Eggs hatch into tadpoles on trees, and tadpoles fall into pits and grow into frogs. The little frog's perseverance and tenacious ability to survive are amazing.
"In the fragrance of rice flowers, you can hear frogs." What a beautiful picture and artistic conception, I have experienced in Ying Ge Ridge: at night, the mountains are silent, and only frogs sound like rain. This wonderful experience will never be forgotten.
With its incredible natural beauty and unique geological, hydrological and ecological landscape, Ying Ge attracts experts from home and abroad to make frequent field trips, and also attracts countless domestic and foreign tourism explorers.
