Shamei Town in the northeast corner is close to the Golden Gate Museum of History and Folklore and the Department of Maritime Boundary Management of Golden Gate University. It's not the bustling area of Kinmen, but it is said that it was chosen for the Golden Mansion Bridge that may be built in the future. The diploma of departments in Jinmen campus is the same as that in this island, because students from the same department attend classes in different campuses, and the benefits are better than those in several campuses on this island:

1. The dormitory was changed by the teaching hall (hotel). Taipei and Taoyuan campuses are both ordinary university dormitories. Of course, the best dormitory is in the American campus.

2. Jinmen county government issues transportation tickets every year, which can be used to buy things or pay for air tickets and boat tickets. Lusheng can also apply for a county citizen card like local residents, and it is free to take public transportation.

All students will only stay in Kinmen for two years (freshmen and sophomores), and then go back to Taoyuan, Taipei to continue their junior and senior years.

4. Professors always return from Taipei. I heard that air tickets alone are prohibitively expensive, plus various construction costs and student subsidies, so I heard that schools don't make money in Kinmen, just to invest in local education.

5. For students admitted to Taipei and Taoyuan, the school can waive the tuition fees for the first two years of the Golden Gate Campus, which is already very generous for private universities, and the benefits of naturalization in kinmen county every year are also very good, so many students from Taiwan Province Province will also go to study (of course, there are also students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan).
