At the present stage of our country, Socialism with Chinese characteristics's common ideal is to build a prosperous, strong, democratic, civilized and harmonious socialist modern country. The content of common ideal education revolves around Socialism with Chinese characteristics's ideal, that is, educating people about the foundation, goal, realization conditions and guarantee of Socialism with Chinese characteristics's common ideal. Specifically, there are three aspects: first, the education and publicity of Socialism with Chinese characteristics's ideal idea and value system, so that people can clearly understand the existence foundation of Socialism with Chinese characteristics's ideal. Specifically, it includes: First, study the classic Marxist theory and China-oriented Marxist theory, educate people to correctly understand Socialism with Chinese characteristics's guiding ideology, and enable people to analyze and understand practical problems by using the basic theories and viewpoints of Marxism. Second, educate people to understand China's history and realistic national conditions, understand the future, nature, leading power and object of China revolution, grasp the historical basis of the emergence and existence of socialism in China, and realize that only socialism can save China; Educate people to understand the realistic foundation of Socialism with Chinese characteristics's cause, correctly understand the victories and setbacks of the international communist movement and China's socialist development, understand the historical conditions and development prospects of the rise of Socialism with Chinese characteristics, and realize that only socialism can develop China. Third, through various forms and media of ideological and political education, we should educate people to identify with the pursuit of socialist basic values such as common prosperity, people being masters of their own affairs, all-round development of people, fairness and justice, and consciously follow the socialist core value system.
