Nanning college for vocational technology, founded in 1984, is a full-time comprehensive higher vocational college organized by the Nanning Municipal People's Government and jointly established by the autonomous region and Nanning. Located at No.0/69, Daxue West Road, Nanning City, Guangxi, it covers an area of 1725 mu with a building area of 570,000 square meters. The current party secretary is Huang Mingrui, and the current president is Zhou Wang. The school motto is "determination, honesty, strong skills and innovation".

By March 2023, the school had 1 main campus and 4 sub-campuses, 13 secondary colleges, 60 majors and 975 faculty members. The school has 4 National Teaching Achievement Awards, 1 National Excellent Specialty, 6 National Demonstration Key Construction Specialty, 9 National Excellent Courses and 7 National Excellent Resources Sharing Courses.

The school, formerly known as Nanning Vocational College, was founded in 1984. It first started in Nanning Institute of Education 1952. 1In July, 1999, Nanning Vocational College, Nanning Education College and Guangxi Radio and TV University merged to form nanning college for vocational technology.

In June 2000, Nanning Construction Technician School merged, and in February 2006, it was formally merged with Nanning Normal School. In 2009 10, it became the first batch of 28 national demonstration higher vocational colleges in Guangxi, and was recognized as "National Quality College" by the Ministry of Education in June 20 19.
