Specialty Setting of College of Arts and Sciences of Harbin Normal University
Harbin Normal University College of Arts and Sciences is located in Acheng, formerly known as Acheng College of Harbin Normal University. To the east of the College 100 meters is the former site of "Jinshangjing Huining House" which was designated as a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in 1982. 300 meters to the south is the only "Jinshangjing History Museum" in China. Stepping out of the main entrance of the school is the provincial road that goes directly to Harbin, Changchun and Shenyang, and the college is 3000 meters north.

At present, the college has four departments of mathematics, Chinese, foreign languages, computer and information technology, and two departments of Marxism-Leninism and public courses. Undergraduate majors 14: mathematics and applied mathematics, physics, Chinese language and literature, teaching Chinese as a foreign language, English, English (non-normal), computer science and technology, among which: law and English (non-normal) are non-normal majors. There are five non-normal majors: mathematics education, physics education, chemistry education, landscape technology, Chinese education, English education, business English, art education, computer art design, computer application technology, computer application technology and business English. There are more than 7,500 undergraduates and junior college students from 20 provinces (autonomous regions) including Heilongjiang, Ningxia, Zhejiang, Shandong, Hubei and Xinjiang.
