Altay Vocational and Technical College, located in Altay City, Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is a full-time general higher vocational and technical college. Altay Vocational and Technical College, the predecessor of Altay Normal School, was founded in 1908 with a history of more than 100 years. In 2000, Altay Normal School merged with Altay Normal School and Altay Commercial School to establish Altay Vocational Education Center.
On March 20 12, the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region approved the establishment of Altay Vocational and Technical College. Altay Vocational and Technical College covers an area of 1.36 mu with a building area of 273,000 square meters. The college has complete facilities and modern teaching facilities, including teaching building, laboratory building, gymnasium and practice factory. The college also has rich library resources, with more than 300,000 books, providing good learning resources for teachers and students.
