Shenzhou Bay is located in Shenhu-Jinjing graben fault depression zone, near Taiwan Province Strait. Metasequoia glyptostroboides forests are buried in intertidal zone and subtidal zone for 7000-8000 years. The distribution area is about 400 meters long and 50 meters wide, with more than 20 bare trees. It is the only relic of ancient submarine forest found in China at present, and it is on the same beach as the large oyster reef formed more than 9000 years ago. The establishment of the reserve is of great significance to the study of paleoclimate and paleogeographic changes on both sides of the Taiwan Province Strait.
Jinmen Island Jinmen Island is located in the southeast of Tongan County, Fujian Province. It looks to Taiwan Province Province in the east and Xiamen in the west. In the Ming Dynasty, a wall was built on the island. It is said that Zheng Chenggong fought here.
Jinmen used to be a barren earth-rock island. Later, people kept planting trees. Now, the boulevard is covered with trees, and its transportation and road network extend in all directions. Its former appearance has long since ceased to exist. The most famous monument on Kinmen Island is Wanglu Mine, which has a history of more than 300 years. According to historical records, King Lu rented a ninth grandson for Ming Taizu and named him Hai. Since the capital was trapped and transferred to Taizhou, Zhang Guoxiong and others greeted Shaoxing, calling it Lu Jianguo, supervising the river and painting Qiantang. After being defeated by the Qing soldiers, they fled to the sea. According to Zheng Chenggong, he was transferred to Jinmen to supervise the name of the country. After his success, he was treated with courtesy at first, and then gradually slackened off. The sea can't be leveled. He's going to South Australia to let people sink to the bottom of the sea. According to Memorabilia of Ci Hai, in the first year of Kangxi (1662), the king of Lu was in Taiwan Province Province. From this point of view, the two records are contradictory and need further study.
With the textual research on the history of Jinmen Island in the summer of 1959, the fallacies of the old times were explained in the unearthed records due to the excavation of the true tomb of King Lu. According to records, Wang Shi's deeds were detailed, and his death date was the first year of Kangxi in Wang Yin (1662). It is said that Wang Su suffered from asthma. Wang traveled to his native land many times and once inscribed the words "cold shadow cloud root" on the tablet. Later, Lu's body was moved and buried, and a new tomb was rebuilt. The back of the tomb faces the sea, and there are archways and pavilions in front. It is solemn and dense with trees, and has become a major historical tourist attraction in Kinmen Island. The nearby Gugang Lake is a recorded lake in the past. There are ancient watchtowers by the lake, ancient watchtowers on the mountainside and Zhu Liangbi tiles, all of which are antique.
Shenhu bay Ancient Submarine Forest The remains of Fujian shenhu bay Ancient Submarine Forest were designated as national nature reserves by the State Council in 1992. Shenhu bay Submarine Ancient Forest Relics Nature Reserve is located in the middle of the west coast of the Taiwan Strait, in the middle of the famous Pingtan-Nan 'ao metamorphic belt, and in the shenhu bay at the southeast end of Jinjiang Peninsula in Fujian. Its main content is to protect the remains of ancient stumps 7500 years ago, the cemented ancient oyster reef 9000-25000 years ago, the coastal metamorphic rock area of Shizhen, the distribution area of old red sand and coastal sand dunes, with a total area of 27km2. Since the discovery of 1986, it was designated as a county-level protected area in June of 1990, and it was established as a national marine nature reserve by the State Council by letter No.92 (166).
The remains of ancient undersea forests found in shenhu bay Nature Reserve are mainly distributed in the intertidal zone from the coast100m to 200m, usually with a water depth of about 2 ~ 3 m, distributed in three pieces, and more than 60 plants have been found. The original upright state is well preserved. Appraised by South China Institute of Botany, China Academy of Sciences, South China Agricultural University and Institute of Geography, Fujian Normal University, these ancient undersea forest relics are mainly gymnosperms, including Gleditsia sinensis, Mulberry and Korean pine. According to the isotopic dating of 14C, its age was 676 1 193 to 7620 130 years ago.
The ancient oyster reef is mainly distributed in the middle tidal zone, with a length of about 500 meters, a width of about 300 meters and a thickness of 20 ~ 40 cm. According to the analysis of shells, the main species are oysters, ostriches and oysters near the river, which are directly attached to the bedrock and preserved in the form of original vertical double petals. According to the dating of 14C by Guangzhou Institute of Geography, National Institute of Oceanography, Institute of Archaeology of China Academy of Sciences and Peking University Department of Archaeology, most samples were dated between 9355 and 25800 years ago, ranging from 20000 to15000 years ago. Therefore, the growth age of large ancient oysters in shenhu bay can be traced back to 25,000-9,000 years ago, which was also the last peak of the Late Pleistocene.
Geomorphology of metamorphic rocks along Shizhen coast: Shichuan metamorphic rock area is a part of the famous Pingtan-Nan 'ao metamorphic belt. Because of its suitable geographical location and favorable topography, this area can completely preserve and clearly show its long geological historical evolution process and complex dynamic thermal metamorphism, which is the best place to study the outcrop of this structure. In addition, due to the long-term effects of waves and sandstorms, the metamorphic rock area has formed a variety of coastal landform phenomena such as wave erosion caves, wind erosion niches, wind rocks and pictograms, which have great scientific research value and are also rare bases for popular science education.
