The Great Teaching Theory, written by Czech educator Comenius in the 0/7th century, was the beginning of the formation of an independent discipline of pedagogy. The subtitle is "The Universal Art of Teaching Everyone Everything", which consists of 33 chapters.
Main viewpoints: Oppose feudalism and scholasticism education, and systematically expound the educational viewpoints that meet the requirements of the emerging bourgeoisie, including the purpose, function, system, content and methods of education. It is pointed out that teaching must follow nature, and the principles of simplicity, thoroughness, conciseness and rapidity are demonstrated. It is the earliest systematic pedagogy work in modern times.
