1. Beijing Sport University
Beijing Sport University was founded in 1953, formerly known as the Central Institute of Physical Education. 1956 and 1993 were renamed Beijing Sport University. It is a national key university, a "2 1 1 project" national key construction university, and the first batch of "double first-class" construction universities in China.
The school has a long history, profound cultural background and solid foundation. It enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad and belongs to the State Sports General Administration. The school is located in Information Road, Haidian District, with an area of 755,000 square meters and a building area of about 450,000 square meters. There are nearly 100 indoor and outdoor training venues. The overall level of the first-level physical education discipline ranks first in the first three rounds of national discipline evaluation and first in the fourth round of national discipline evaluation.
2. Capital Institute of Physical Education
The Capital Institute of Physical Education is located in Haidian University Park, bordering Zhongguancun Science Park in the west and the famous "thrips" scenic spot in the east. College was founded in 1956, formerly known as "Beijing Sports School". 1960 was renamed as "Beijing Sports Teachers College" and in 2000 it was renamed as "Capital Institute of Physical Education". Since its establishment 50 years ago, the college has made remarkable achievements in various undertakings.
At present, the college is in the forefront of similar colleges in China in terms of school scale, school level, specialty setting, teaching staff, teaching quality, scientific research achievements and facilities. In 2004, in the Comprehensive Competitiveness Evaluation Report of China University jointly compiled by China Scientific Evaluation Research Center, China Institute of Science and Technology Information of the Ministry of Science and Technology and China Youth Daily, our comprehensive competitiveness ranked second among similar universities in China, among which "school resources" and "teaching level" ranked first among similar universities in China.
3. Shanghai Institute of Physical Education
Shanghai Institute of Physical Education was founded in 1952, which was formed by the merger of Nanjing University, East China Normal University and Nanjing Jinling Women's University. Formerly known as East China Institute of Physical Education, it is the earliest physical education institution after the founding of New China. In 2002, the former Shanghai Institute of Physical Education, Shanghai Institute of Physical Education and Shanghai Institute of Physical Education merged to form a new Shanghai Institute of Physical Education.
College physical education was rated as the highland of education in Shanghai. Sports theory, sports anatomy (including sports biomechanics), martial arts, football, gymnastics and heavy competition are the key disciplines and projects of the State Sports General Administration. There is also a sports Post-Doctoral Research Center in the college. At the same time, it was approved by the State Council Academic Degree Office as the enrollment and training unit of "Master of Physical Education" and "Master of Physical Education", covering education, literature, management, science and other fields.
4. Wuhan Institute of Physical Education
Wuhan Institute of Physical Education, formerly known as Central South Institute of Physical Education, is one of the first independent physical education institutions in New China. 1953 was founded in Nanchang, Jiangxi, 1955 moved to Wuhan, Hubei, and 1956 was renamed Wuhan Institute of Physical Education. Before 200 1, the school was directly under the State Sports General Administration. In September of 20001year, it was changed to a public institution jointly organized by the State Sports General Administration and the Hubei Provincial People's Government.
The school has two campuses, Zhuodao Campus (headquarters) and Ganlongdao Campus (branch campus), with a total area of 1398 mu and a construction area of more than 600,000 square meters. The school has all kinds of indoor and outdoor sports venues, teaching buildings and experimental buildings, advanced and complete teaching, training and scientific research facilities, digital library and Gigabit campus network, and the library has more than 970,000 books.
