Xiamen Zhonglun Park, formerly known as Xiamen Zhonglun Nursery, was founded in August 1958 and is a public institution directly under the Municipal Bureau of Landscape Architecture. The parks under the jurisdiction of my unit are: Zhonglun Park and lakeside park. Zhonglun Park is located in the eastern part of Xiamen Island, starting from Orient Mountain and Shigushan hilly areas in the south, reaching Lvling Road in the north, Jinshang Road in the west and Shigu Shandong in the east. In 2004, Zhonglun Park officially started construction, with a planned total area of 649,000 square meters. It is the largest comprehensive urban park in Xiamen, with an open area of 400,000 square meters. The park has dense vegetation, including well-preserved lemon eucalyptus forest, longan forest, litchi forest and locust forest. In recent years, peach trees, Fujian mountain cherry blossoms and other four-season ornamental flowers have been planted.
