Where are the former sites of Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and North Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China?
The former sites of Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and North Guangdong Provincial Committee are cultural relics protection units in Guangdong Province, red tourism classic scenic spots and patriotic education bases.

The former sites of CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and CPC North Guangdong Provincial Committee are located in Wu Liting, Zhenjiang District, Shaoguan City, Bayi Village, Shensuo Town, Shixing County, and Yaokeng Village, Nanxiong City, respectively. Under the leadership of the CPC Southern Bureau and the CPC Southern Working Committee, the former site became the command center of the Guangdong people's anti-Japanese struggle. This is the former site of the provincial party committee before the founding of New China, which is found in our province at present, and it is a historical witness of the Guangdong people's revolutionary struggle led by the Party, which is of great significance.

At that time, under the cover of running a school and doing business, the provincial party committee organized War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in northern Guangdong to fight against the climax initiated by various factions of the Kuomintang. People in Bayi Village and Yaokeng Village enthusiastically helped the Party organizations and made great sacrifices to cover up Comrade party member. Anwei Hall, located in Bayi Village, was the office and residence of Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Northern Guangdong Provincial Committee at that time. This Hakka square paddock was originally five stories high, each floor 1008 square meters. All the wooden structures, floors and partitions in the fence were savagely burned by the Japanese invaders, leaving only a circle of ruins. In Yaokeng Village, every day, more than a dozen villagers, witnesses of history, bitterly complain about the atrocities committed by the Japanese invaders in order to eliminate party member, which is moving.

During the period of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, party member cadres and the people forged a profound friendship. Today, the local people still spontaneously protect these precious red sites and revolutionary cultural relics. The villagers of Bayi Village used the classroom on the second floor of the village primary school teaching building to open a rare village-level exhibition hall in the whole province and even the whole country, collected and displayed quite a lot of revolutionary cultural relics and materials, and sorted out some historical materials. The villagers in Yaokeng Village carefully protected the revolutionary plaque and the office building and ruins of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and enthusiastically provided precious historical photos and information of other revolutionary martyrs to the cultural relics administrative department.
