Why should international understanding education be carried out?
International understanding education is a new topic in the development of education in the contemporary world. At its 18 session, the General Conference of UNESCO adopted educational proposals on international understanding, international cooperation, international education and human rights and fundamental freedoms. From 65438 to 0994, the concept of "culture of peace" was put forward at the 44th International Education Conference held in Geneva, and it was pointed out that education should cultivate the global civic spirit of mutual respect and mutual absorption among multiculturalism, ideology and beliefs.

International understanding education can enable students from all countries to continue to learn their own culture in foreign countries, let their own students know more about foreign cultures, and cultivate the "world citizenship quality" of students from all ethnic groups who understand, respect and tolerate each other.

At present, the internationalization of education has become an urgent situation in China. To enhance the country's international competitiveness, a large number of international talents with international vision are needed. This requires our school to put international understanding education in an important position, pay attention to the improvement of students' basic academic ability, emphasize values and moral education, emphasize creativity and open thinking, emphasize the cultivation of information literacy, respect students' generation experience and develop students' personality.
