Jilin Institute of Education, founded in 1957, is a normal adult higher education institution established by the provincial government, headed by the provincial education department and approved by the Ministry of Education.

Over the past 45 years, the college has always adhered to the purpose of serving basic education, and made important contributions to basic education in Jilin Province in teaching, scientific research, teacher training, and training of primary and secondary school principals.
