Henan Education Network was registered and opened in 2005. It is the only official education portal in charge of the Henan Provincial Department of Education. It is hosted by the Information Center and is responsible for daily operations.

Henan Provincial Department of Education is the provincial government department in charge of education in the whole province. Co-located with the College Working Committee of Henan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. At present, there are 0/62 cadres and 22 offices.

Carry out the national education policies and guidelines, draft local laws and regulations on education, formulate the province's education reform and development strategy, education development plan and annual plan, formulate the education system reform policy, and be responsible for guiding, coordinating and supervising the implementation.
