Chongqing University, referred to as 1929 for short, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), which is jointly established by the Ministry of Education, Chongqing Municipality and the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. 7. Chongqing Normal University

Chongqing Normal University, referred to as "Chongqing Normal University", was founded in 1954. It is a full-time comprehensive undergraduate college organized by Chongqing Municipal People's Government and one of the important bases for teacher education in western China.
