Baoding Radio and TV University was founded in February, 1979. It is a comprehensive adult college affiliated to Baoding Municipal Government. After 25 years of reform and development, Baoding Radio and TV University has formed a distance education network centered on the city school and based on 22 county-level TV universities, covering the city's population of 6.5438+million. The east and west campuses of the school cover a total area of 20 mu, with a campus building area of 8,648 square meters and fixed assets of 8 million yuan, including 2.9 million yuan of distance education infrastructure assets.

The school implements the principal responsibility system under the leadership of the party Committee. The school leadership consists of seven people, including Yang Shuming, the current party secretary, and Li Jinxin, the principal. There are 12 middle-level institutions in the school: office, general affairs office, enrollment office, academic affairs office, open education office, general vocational education office, technical secondary school education office, continuing education office, dual-access education office, modern educational technology center and scientific research office. The school has 120 staff, and on-the-job staff 1 10, including 84 professional and technical personnel, 24 in higher vocational schools, 40 in secondary vocational schools and 20 in initial positions.

In the past twenty-five years, Baoding Radio and TV University has adhered to multi-level, multi-specification and multi-form education based on the needs of local economic construction and social development, delivered a large number of urgently needed professionals, set up 146 majors, trained 50,269 college graduates and trained 20 174 people without academic qualifications. Now there are 54 majors, 16000 students.
